Check Out This Great Making Of Documentary For Disney's 1982 Classic TRON
I’ve got a great making of documentary here for you to watch for Disney’s classic 1982 film Tron. The doc was released in 2022, and it features the people who worked on the original film talk about how it was made and what events led to the making of it. It’s pretty insane to see the process that the creative team went through to actually make this movie!
If you’re a fan of the Tron franchise, this is a must watch! The film was a groundbreaking sci-fi adventure film that dives into the world of computer programming and virtual reality. The movie was directed by Steven Lisberger, and the story follows Kevin Flynn, a computer programmer and former employee of ENCOM, a powerful technology corporation.
When Flynn is unfairly ousted from the company by its ruthless executive Ed Dillinger, he attempts to hack into ENCOM's mainframe to prove his innocence. However, he inadvertently gets transported into the digital world inside the computer, where programs take on human-like forms and engage in gladiatorial games. Teaming up with security program Tron and the mysterious warrior Yori, Flynn embarks on a daring quest to overthrow the oppressive Master Control Program (MCP) and escape back to the real world.
I thought it would be fun to take a look back at this film as we wait for the third film in the franchise, Tron: Ares, to finish production.
