Chris Pine Knew He Was Going to Return for WONDER WOMAN 1984 While Working on the Original

Many fans, including myself, were shocked and confused when we saw Chris Pine on the set of Wonder Woman 1984. We all saw his character, Steve Trevor, die in Wonder Woman. What was he doing in the sequel?

There are some rumored details about how and why Steve Trevor returns for the sequel that you can read here. There is some sense to these possible plot details, but we’ll just have to wait and see if they are legit.

It turns out that Pine knew since the original that he was going to be in the sequel. In a recent interview with BBC Radio 1, Pine discusses some things from the Star Trek films, Wonder Woman, and Outlaw King.
