Chris Pratt Calls GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3 "A Masterpiece"
We don’t know much about James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. We just know that it’s going to be the last film that Gunn makes for the franchise, and according to Star-Lord actor Chris Pratt, the film is “a masterpiece.”
During a recent interview with Digital Spy, Pratt was asked about the film, and this is what he said: “It’s fantastic. [Director] James Gunn just watched a rough assembly the other day. I called him yesterday. We Facetimed, and he’s very, very proud of the work that everyone’s done. He said it’s the best work all of us have ever done. He feels very, very confident. The script was amazing.”
Pratt then went on to call the movie “a masterpiece” and said that he can’t wait for people to see it. He added: “And I can say with utter confidence that he’s made a true masterpiece, and I just cannot wait for people to see it. It’s James Gunn. He did all three movies, which is really rare and really special in the world of big box-office trilogies.”
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will also see the return of Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, Vin Diesel as Groot, and Will Poulter was recently cast as Adam Warlock. Oh yeah! Sylvester Stallone will be back as Starhawk!
When previously talking about the movie, Gunn said: "This is the end for us, the last time people will see this team of Guardians." He went on to tease what we can expect from the film saying, “It's big; it's so, so big and dark, and different from what people might be expecting it to be. I just want to be true to the characters, the story and give people the wrap-up that they deserve for the story. That's always a little bit scary; I'm doing my best."
I can’t wait to see how the story for these characters comes to a close. There’s no doubt that it’s going to be a bitter/sweet conclusion, but I’m ready. I loved this franchise and these Marvel characters, and I have no doubt that Gunn is going to deliver a movie that the fans will love.
