Chris Pratt Teases Star-Lord's Future in the MCU After GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3
With Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 being James Gunn’s last film in the franchise, fans are wondering how the story is going to end for some of the fan-favorite characters. People are fearful that some of them won’t make it out alive. One character that I don’t think will die is Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord, but he’s definitely going to be dealing with a lot of grief and pain.
In a recent interview with Extra, Pratt teased his future in the MCU after the next Guardians film and whether he lives or dies, he would be up for playing the character again. He says anything is possible because variants have now been introduced. When asked if he would be back, he said:
"I don't know. I hope so. If not, you can always just follow me on Instagram. There are no plans for that right now. I think anything is possible, anything is possible. There's [the] multiverse thing. I'm not saying I am, but if a character gets killed... Actually, turns out there are, like, crazy wormholes to bring people back."
When talking about his time in the role of Star-Lord, the actor said: "Playing this character has been the honor of my career. I'm only focused on that right now."
Fans at Comic-Con were treated to the very first trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and that footage was my favorite thing that I saw at the event. It’s going to take audiences on a wild and emotional ride. I’m excited for you all to eventually get to see it!
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 hits theaters on May 5, 2023. What do you think the future holds for Star-Lord?
