Christoph Waltz is a Sociopath Consultant in Twisted New Trailer For THE CONSULTANT
Prime Video has released a great new trailer for Christoph Waltz’s upcoming series The Consultant. In it, he plays Mr. Patoff, a mysterious business consultant who takes over running a mobile game company and he seems to be a twisted sociopath that will push the company’s employees to the brink of madness.
The series is described as a twisted, comedic-thriller and it’s based on the 2015 novel written by Bentley Little, and the story explores “the sinister relationship between boss and employee, as the characters and story unfold in new and unexpected ways.”
Waltz’s character is hired “to improve the business at the App-based gaming company CompWare” and the “employees experience new demands and challenges that put everything into question … including their lives.”
The show was created and executive produced by Tony Basgallop, who is also serving as the showrunner. The series also stars Nat Wolff as Craig, Brittany O’Grady as Elaine, and Aimee Carrero as Patti.
The eight-episode series will be available for streaming on February 24, 2023.
