Colin Trevorrow is Developing a Sci-Fi Thriller Series For Prime Video Titled HALCYON

Amazon Studio is teaming up with Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow for a new sci-fi thriller drama series titled Halcyon. The series is based on Christopher Long’s graphic novel Hiding In Time, and Trevorrow will help develop the project and direct the pilot.

The series was created by Richard Smith, who wrote the pilot episode and it tells a really cool and interesting story. The series is described as a “paranoid sci-fi thriller in which the Witness Protection Program relocates families to various eras in time. The series unravels a conspiracy that emerges when this seemingly infallible system is breached.”

The captivating comic blends elements of science fiction, thriller, and historical drama. The story revolves around the intriguing concept of time travel, where a secret government agency discovers a way to send agents back in time to hide witnesses who need protection.

The story takes audiences on a thrilling journey through different eras, from the American Civil War to the Roaring Twenties, with each time period offering its own unique challenges and dangers.

Davey Holmes (Get Shorty, Shameless) will serve as showrunner and executive producer. I love the concept of this story and if done right, this could make for a great series!
