Dafne Keen is Eager To Play X-23 in The MCU and Would Do It For The Rest of Her Life

Deadpool & Wolverine gave Dafne Keen the opportunity to reprise her role as Laura/X-23 for the first time since Logan, and it was awesome to see her back in action!

X-23 is such a great character and I love how Keen brought the character to life, and ever since she made her debut in Logan, I’ve hoped that the opportunity would come to explore X-23 further.

Empire Magazine recently did a quick interview with Keen and asked whether she even wants to continue playing this character in the MCU, and she made her intentions very clear.

Keen said: "I would 100% do this for the rest of my life." So, now, it’s up to Marvel Studios to actually make this happen because fans like myself are eager to see more of this character and her story.

When previously addressing her MCU future, Keen said, "I would love to come back. I would pay them to come back. Playing Laura has been the biggest honor of my life.

“To me, we've only scratched the surface with her since she's such a complex character. She's so cool, just from a fan's standpoint."

She also confirmed that she's Logan's Laura and not just a lookalike Variant. "[Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy] ere like, 'Not a Variant. You went along with the kids for a few years and then you got zapped. You've been in the TVA for a few years now. You lost your accent because you were in America for a while."

"You're a very intelligent kid, you learned English when you were with Logan...to you, you are Logan's Laura so seeing this person again is, 'Whoa, this is my dad who I haven't seen for years.'"

I have no idea what the future plans are for Keen’s X-23 but I do hope that Marvel Studios at least has plans for her future! What would you like to see Marvel do with this character?
