Dan Stevens Replaces Justin Roiland in Hulu's SOLAR OPPOSITES Animated Series; Trailer Released
Dan Stevens (The Guest, Legion, Downton Abbey) has officially replaced Justin Roiland in the lead role of Hulu’s animated series Solar Opposites, which is returning for a fourth season. We even have a first-look trailer for you to watch below! Steven is a surprising and unexpected choice, but he’s going to be great in the series.
Roiland, who co-created the series, was fired from the show earlier this year after it was revealed he was being charged with domestic violence. He was also cut from Hulu’s other animated show Koala Man. The charges against Roiland were dismissed in March, but the streaming services stuck with their decision to not bring Roiland back, probably because of his workplace behavior.
Stevens will take on the role of the character Korvo in the series described as “a grouchy alien who always wears ceremonial robes and professes to hate Earth. He desperately wants to fix their spaceship so he can escape to a new planet.”
Stevens joins Thomas Middleditch, Sean Giambrone, and Mary Mack. Season 4 will premiere on August 14th, and the show has already been renewed for Season 5.
