Daniel Craig Doesn't Care Who Plays the Next Version James Bond

James Bond fans have been curious about who will be playing the next version of 007 when the new film is eventually announced.

There are a lot of rumors, speculation, and fan-casting, but we have no idea what the producers of the franchise are thinking in regard to who might play Bond.

Former Bond star Daniel Craig was recently asked about who he would like to see take on the role next during an interview with Variety, and he bluntly responded: "I don't care.”

Pierce Brosnan once gave a similar response to they same question saying, "I don't really care." So I guess once James Bond actors are done with the role, they simply don’t care what happens next with the franchise, and why would they? They have no invested interest in it after they’re done.

The most recent update on the next film came from producer Barbara Broccoli earlier this year saying, "No, there’s nothing I can tell you about the next Bond film. There’s nothing. Nothing is happening yet."

Broccoli also said they’ve barely scratched the surface of the next iteration of Bond, and there's "a big road ahead."

So, it seems like we’ve still got a long way to go before we see a new Bond movie on the big screen.
