Danny Boyle Confirms He is Directing Daniel Craig's Final JAMES BOND Film
Director Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, Sunshine, Slumdog Millionaire) has confirmed that he will be directing the next James Bond film, which will be the final stint for Daniel Craig as James Bond. Boyle was rumored to be wanted for the film a few weeks ago and he talked about the development of the movie during an interview with Metro US, and said he's working on the script alongside Trainspotting's John Hodge with the script penned by Richard Curtis:
“We are working on a script right now. And it all depends on that really. I am working on a Richard Curtis script at the moment. We hope to start shooting that in 6 or 7 weeks. Then Bond would be right at the end of the year. But we are working on them both right now.
We’ve got an idea, John Hodge, the screenwriter, and I have got this idea, and John is writing it at the moment. And it all depends on how it turns out. It would be foolish of me to give any of it away.”
Boyle didn't have much to say about the script but did say production on the feature is moving along well enough for the film to hit its projected release date of November 9, 2019.
