DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN Brings Backs Tony Dalton as The Swordsman From HAWKEYE

Tony Dalton is returning to the role of Jack Duquesne, aka The Swordsman, in two episodes of the upcoming Marvel series Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+. Dalton’s The Swordman orifginally made his debut in Marvel’s Hawkeye series.

In Hawkeye, The Swordsman was engaged to Kate Bishop’s mother Eleanor Bishop. At first, Duquesne seemed like he may take a villainous role, after he was framed for his uncle’s murder and stole the sword that belonged to Clint Barton aka Ronin.

In the finale of Hawkeye it was revealed that Eleanor was the mastermind behind the plot and had been working with Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk, aka the Kingpin. So, it makes sense that the character would return.

In Marvel Television's Daredevil: Born Again, “Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer with heightened abilities is fighting for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk pursues his own political endeavors in New York. When their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.”

The series also stars Elden Henson as Froggy Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher, , Wilson Bethel as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter, and Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Marianna-Fisk.

The cast also includes Charlie Cox as Daredevil, and Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin, Margarita Levieva, Michael Gandolfini, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Jeremy Earl, and more.

Daredevil: Born Again is being developed by directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, who worked on both Moon Knight and Loki.

Daredevil: Born Again is set to arrive on Disney+ on March 4th, 2025.
