DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN Reportedly to Serve as a "Gateway" to Explore "Other Street Superheroes"
We’ve got two seasons of Daredevil: Born Again coming and while we don’t really know what the story entails or how that story will play out, this show is sure to set up some cool and interesting Marvel stories in the future.
During a Q&A session with questions from the members of The Cosmic Circus Discord, industry scooper Alex Perez offers some insight on what Marvel Studios might be thinking in regard to the future of street level superheroes.
He said that Marvel sees Daredevil as a “gateway” so that they can explore stories about various other “street superheroes. In terms of interactions, we can expect, of course, the long-awaited team-up between Spider-Man and Daredevil.“
He went on to mention other characters that Daredevil could encounter: “I’ve also heard of some ideas down the road for Daredevil to encounter other heroes, particularly Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight and Florence Pugh’s Black Widow. However, those are still just ideas down the road for different projects.”
It would be really interesting to see Daredevil interact with any of these Marvel characters! But, it’s pointed out that these are just ideas right now, and we have no idea if these character interactions will ever happen.
