DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN Star Charlie Cox Teases Some "Nice Little Cameos" the Fans Can Expect From the Series

Last week, Marvel Studios unleashed the first footage from Daredevil: Born Again during D23, and it features Charlie Cox's Daredevil and Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin once again facing off with each other.

We also get a first look at Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle, aka The Punisher, back in action. Fans also seemed to have spied White Tiger in the footage that was that was eventually scrubbed from the internet.

Not only was footage released, but Cox himself hyped up the show, and teased fans with the promise of some “nice little cameos” in the series. Screen Rant was in attendance, and they reported that Cox said:

"We don't follow any of the comic books in terms of story. We don't follow any of them closely, and there's a number of reasons for that.

One, because if you follow a storyline closely, it becomes a foregone conclusion because everyone knows how it ends.

Those of you who saw the leaked trailer from D23 may have noticed a couple of interesting characters come up – I didn't say it, you said it. The trailer's now been taken down, so I'm not going to say anything."

That's when the actor said he was thrilled for his character to appear alongside White Tiger and other unnamed heroes that will end up appearing in the show.

"I remember getting those scripts, and the character that I'm thinking about in particular right now, I remember when I read that [story] before I started doing Daredevil in 2014.

I always thought that was a really cool storyline and such an interesting character; such an interesting dynamic between the two of them. That was really fun, and I'm really excited about that. And there are a couple of other nice little cameos that come up."

The new series is reportedly inspired by the Devil's Reign storyline, which explores the power dynamics between Kingpin and the vigilantes who stand up against him. The story revolves around the power struggle between Daredevil and Wilson Fisk, who becomes the Mayor of New York City.

Daredevil: Born Again is developed by directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, who worked on both Moon Knight and Loki.

Daredevil: Born Again is set to arrive on Disney Plus in March 2025.
