DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN Seasion 2 Set Photos Reveal Black Suit with Iconic "DD" Logo
The latest set photos and videos from Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 have given fans their first look at a major costume update for Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock.
The images and video confirm that Daredevil will don a new black suit featuring the classic “DD” logo on the chest, which is something that has been missing from the MCU’s version of the character until now.
The footage, shared on X , shows Daredevil’s stunt double outside Josie’s Bar wearing the black suit with a red double-D emblem.
The design closely resembles the Shadowland-inspired look from the comics, fueling speculation about whether Season 2 will pull from that storyline. However, Marvel Studios has not confirmed if Born Again will be inspired by Shadowland .
One particular video features Daredevil swinging his baton as he enters Josie’s Bar, which was previously wrecked by Bullseye in the series premiere. While the clip doesn’t confirm who he's fighting, the setting suggests the villain could be involved.
Another interesting detail from the set photos is the presence of Fisk’s AVTF (Anti-Vigilante Task Force) enforcing martial law in broad daylight. With Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) now serving as Mayor of New York, his political storyline appears to be escalating into full-blown authoritarian control.
Charlie Cox previously talked about the suit in the first season of Daredevil: Born Again, saying: "The one that we have in this new show, I think the color is so cool, it's a really cool Daredevil red. I only hope that I one day graduate to the Daredevil DDs."
Charlie Cox is, of course, back as Matt Murdock, with Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, and Jon Bernthal also reprising their roles. The series is led by showrunner Dario Scardapane and is set to hit Disney+ in 2026.
