DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN Trailer Drops Major Jessica Jones Reveal and Teases THE PUNISHER: ONE LAST KILL

Marvel just dropped a new trailer for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, and it’s packed some pretty exciting reveals. From a huge update involving Jessica Jones to our first gritty look at Frank Castle’s next chapter, there’s a lot going on here and it all points to the MCU’s street-level corner getting even more intense.

With the season approaching its midpoint, the latest footage teases what’s coming next, and some of it is genuinely surprising. The trailer opens with a great action scene involving Bullseye.

One of the biggest moments comes from a quick but impactful tease involving Jessica Jones. The trailer confirms that she has a daughter, something longtime Marvel readers will instantly recognize.

In the comics, Jessica and Luke Cage have a child named Danielle, and with Mike Colter now confirmed to appear in the MCU side of things, it seems pretty likely that’s exactly who’s being referenced here.

It’s a huge development that opens the door to deeper connections between these characters moving forward.

The trailer also digs into the past in a way that raises some serious questions. We catch a glimpse of James Wesley, who fans will remember was killed by Karen Page back in Season 1 of the original Netflix series.

His appearance here suggests a flashback, and it might tie into the mysterious return of Foggy Nelson after his reported death. There’s clearly more going on beneath the surface, and Marvel seems ready to revisit some of those defining moments.

Then there’s Frank Castle. The final moments of the trailer give us our first look at The Punisher: One Last Kill, the upcoming Special Presentation set to hit Disney+ shortly after the season wraps.

Jon Bernthal is back, and he looks as intense as ever. It’s only a brief tease, but it sets the gritty tone as Castle stands outside a restaurant called Gnucci’s, a clever nod to the infamous Ma Gnucci storyline from the comics.

The official synopsis offers a hint of where this story is headed: "As Frank Castle searches for meaning beyond revenge, an unexpected force pulls him back into the fight."

This marks the third Marvel Special Presentation following Werewolf by Night and The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, and it looks like it’ll lean hard into the gritty tone fans expect from The Punisher.

Meanwhile, Daredevil: Born Again continues to build toward a larger clash in New York City. Wilson Fisk, played by Vincent D’Onofrio, tightens his grip as mayor, turning the city into his personal battleground while hunting down Daredevil.

At the center of it all is Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock, who’s forced to operate from the shadows as he tries to take Fisk down and reclaim his city.

The official premise sums it up perfectly: “In Daredevil: Born Again, survival, resistance and redemption collide as the battle for the soul of New York begins. In Season 2, Mayor Wilson Fisk crushes New York City underfoot as he hunts down public enemy number one, the Hell’s Kitchen vigilante known as Daredevil.

But beneath the horned mask, Matt Murdock will try to fight back from the shadows to tear down the Kingpin’s corrupt empire and redeem his home. Resist. Rebel. Rebuild.”

I loved the series, and I’m excited for the fans to get to see how it comes to a close and sets up a third season.

Daredevil: Born Again is currently streaming weekly on Disney+, and if this trailer is anything to go by, things are about to get a whole lot crazier.
