Dave Bautista Looking to Join Guy Ritchie's ROAD HOUSE 2

Dave Bautista may be stepping into the chaos of the Road House universe. While nothing’s official yet, sources say he’s received an offer to join Road House 2. Talks haven’t started, but just the idea of Bautista mixing it up with Jake Gyllenhaal in this sequel is enough to get audiences interested.

Guy Ritchie is directed the sequel, with Gyllenhaal reprising his role as ex-UFC fighter Dalton. The script comes from Will Beall (Bad Boys: Ride or Die), and production is being handled by Charles Roven and Alex Gartner , along with Gyllenhaal’s Nine Stories and executive producers Josh McLaughlin and Ivan Atkinson.

The 2024 reboot, directed by Doug Liman, was a major hit for Prime Video, drawing over 80 million viewers worldwide within eight weeks and setting streaming records for Amazon.

As for Bautista, his dance card is pretty full. He’s currently working on Alpha Gang with the Zellner brothers and Cate Blanchett, and he’s got both The Trap House and Amazon’s Wrecking Crew opposite Jason Momoa on deck.

If talks progress, this could mark yet another sharp and physical role for the former WWE star, one that fits snugly into the punch-happy, glass-breaking world of Road House.
