Daveed Diggs Joins The Cast of THE BOYS Season 5 in a Mystery Role
Daveed Diggs (Hamilton, Snowpiercer) has joined the cast of The Boys Season 5, but we have no idea who he will be playing. Those details will have to remain a mystery for now.
The announcement was made on The Boys social media channels and it came with the caption, "That's all ya get for now."
It will be interesting to see who he ends up playing in the series. In the meantime, are there any characters that you think he will be taking on?
The fifth season will be the final season of the series, and when talking about that, creator and showrunner, Eric Kripke teased:
"You know, I think the finale of season four really shows you that we've been planning five years all along, because there's no way a show goes one more season after the events of that finale. As far as we're concerned, it's our show's version of the apocalypse."
The series is described as follows: “The world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power.
“Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca's son as well as his job as The Boys' leader. The rest of the team are fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world before it's too late.”
