David Harbour Is Promoting the "Stunningly Beautiful" Final Season of STRANGER THINGS So Confidently He Says Fans Can Rage If He's Wrong
Stranger Things actor David Harbour, who plays Hopper in the series, is gearing up to get back to work now that the Hollywood SAG/AFTRA strike has come to a close. He is ready to go, and he is promoting the heck out of this new season with some pretty major claims about how fans will receive the final chapter to the beloved story that follows this ragtag group of misfits in the town of Hawkins, Indiana.
In an interview with Comicbook, Harbour said:
"I'm gonna just make a bold statement. Each year, it feels like the show's getting bigger and bigger and more exciting. And we have a real responsibility to knock it out of the park in the final season. So if we don't, give me all of your fan rage. Write the petitions. Go ahead, do it. Because I'm going down there next week to start and I'm going to pour my whole heart into this thing. I've read some of the scripts and in my mind, they're stunningly beautiful. It's time. We're going to knock it out of the park. We're going to deliver you the finale that you need, that you want, that I want."
When previously describing Stranger Things Season 5, the creators and writing team, The Duffer Brothers, described the next chapter of the story, saying it “is like if Season 1 and 4 had a baby. And then that baby was injected with steroids."
Stranger Things 5 will be the last time Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Max (Sadie Sink), and the rest of the Hawkins gang are all together for one last fight against the villainous Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower).
Stranger Things is expected to return to Netflix in 2025.
