DEAD SNOW and VIOLENT NIGHT Director Tommy Wirkola is Directing a New Shark Thriller
Shark movies continue to be all the rage right now, and another one is going into development at Sony Pictures with Dead Snow and Violent Night director Tommy Wirkola set to helm.
The untitled shark thriller will star Phoebe Dynevor (Fair Play) and production is set to begin in Australia this summer. Adam McKay is also a producer on the project.
There are no story details to share, but it’s safe to assume that it will involve a shark killing people who have found themselves at the mercy of the ocean.
Hopefully, Wirkola will do something different and unique that already hasn’t been done with shark movies.
Dynevor has several film projects lined up which include a short film titled More Flames, from McKay‘s Yellow Dot Studios and Climate Spring.
Dynevor will be seen in the spy film Inheritence from director Neil Burger (Divergent, The Illusionist) and Anniversary, which also stars Diane Lane, Zoey Deutch, Mckenna Grace, Dylan O’Brien and Kyle Chandler.
