DEADPOOL 3 Is Bring Described as the "NO WAY HOME" of Fox's X-MEN
Deadpool 3 is shaping up to be something special for X-Men fans. It’s been rumored that the movie is going to include several characters from Fox’s X-Men franchise, and apparently the film is really going to lean into that. So much so that a new report describes it as “the No Way Home” of Fox’s X-Men.
According to insider CanWeGetSomeToast, the movie is “basically the No Way Home of the Fox X-Men universe.” The then noted in a separate tweet that “we’re going to get a LOT of character justice in Deadpool 3,” and it came with a photo of the X-Men team from X2: X-Men United.
The No Way Home description is in reference to Spider-Man: No Way Home, which showed Tom Holland’s Spider-Man come face to face with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s versions of the character after they were pulled from their respective universes. Check out the tweets below:
The cast currently includes Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman as Deadpool and Wolverine. They are joined by Brianna Hildebrand and Shioli Kutsuna, who will reprise their roles as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and her girlfriend Yukio, a Japanese mutant ninja.
The movie also stars Emma Corrin as the villain, Morena Baccarin and Stefan Kapicic as Vanessa and Colossus, Matthew Macfadyen in an unknown role, Karan Soni as Dopinder, and Leslie Uggams as Blind Al. Then there’s the possibility we’ll see Halle Berry back as Storm, Famke Janssen as Jean Grey, and James Marsden as Cyclops.
The movie is being directed by Shawn Levy from a script written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Deadpool 3 will be released on May 3, 2024.
