DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE Crosses the Billion Dollar Mark at the Box Office

Over the weekend, Marvel’s Deadpool & Wolverine became part of the billion dollar club at the worldwide box office!

We all knew this was going to happen, but it’s cool to actually see it happen. This milestone is quite a feat for Marvel Studios' first R-rated movie.

After taking in $495 million domestically along with $535 million from international markets, the Shawn Levy-directed movie has made $1.03 billion worldwide.

The movie is only days away from passing Joker’s $1.06 billion to become the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time.

This also makes Deadpool & Wolverine the second highest-grossing movie of 2024 after Disney's Inside Out 2, and it’s the first MCU movie to hit $1 billion since Spider-Man: No Way Home was released.

Deadpool & Wolverine has put Marvel on a whole new momentum. Hopefully, they will be able to keep it out by creating more quality content. Also, with this kind of money rolling in, you can bet your ass we’ll see Deadpool back in action.

Marvel Studio celebrated the billion-dollar occasion with the following promo spot.
