Director Chad Stahelski Says JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 4 Will Be More Difficult To Make Than The Others
John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum will explode into theaters this weekend and fans all around the world are stoked to see it! While we all wait to see how this next part of the story plays out, it sounds like director Chad Stahelski is already working on John Wick: Chapter 4.
It’s not really surprising to hear that because everyone involved with the franchise would love to see it keep going for years to come. Keanu Reeves recently said that he’ll take it "As far as my legs can take me. As far as the audience wants to go."
During an "Ask Me Anything" Q&A on Reddit, Stahelski said that the possibility of John Wick: Chapter 4 was up to the fans, because a sequel all hinges on the success of Chapter 3. However, when he was asked which of the John Wick films was most difficult to make, he said that Chapter 4 would be the hardest.
"1 was difficult because we didn’t understand what we wanted to do, quite. Number 2, we had to map up a whole world we didn’t think of before. 3, how do we expand and get the audience something creative, not just bigger and cooler. Number 4, I’m certain, will be more difficult.”
Well, the creative team seems to keep raising the bar with every John Wick film that they make, so of course it’s going to be hard to out do what they previously did in terms of action. But, you know what? I believe that they will be able to pull it off and keep delivering incredibly badass action-packed movies!
While John Wick: Chapter 4 hasn’t been confirmed, it seems like it’s safe to say that they are in the early stages of working on it.
