Disney+ Producing a Second Muppet Series of Unscripted Variety Shorts

A few months ago we reported the news that Disney+ will be debuting a new Muppets show on their streaming service after it launches in November. That show will be called Muppets Live Another Day, and it’s being created by Josh Gad, Adam Horowitz, and Edward Kitsis. As of now, the series is set to be premiered on the streaming service sometime in 2020.

We now have a bit of info on yet another Muppet show that will also be debuting on Disney+ as well. Disinsider.com reports this series will be a series of unscripted shorts featuring three different segments, which are a game show, a cooking show, and a talk show that will probably be hosted by Miss Piggy, and each segment will be no longer than ten minutes.

Production starts on June 9th, and we don’t have a release date yet, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see the shorts debut with the streaming service in November.
