DOLLFACE Adds Esther Povitsky to Its Growing Cast

Dollface is a new comedy series for Hulu coming from Kat Dennings who will star in and executive produce it. Jordan Weiss is writing the series and it has recently been announced that Esther Povitsky will star opposite Dennings as Izzy. Izzy is one of Jane’s (Dennings) coworkers at Woom and is described as being “desperate to be accepted by their coworkers.”

“Dollface follows a young woman (Dennings) who – after being dumped by her longtime boyfriend – must deal with her own imagination in order to literally and metaphorically re-enter the world of women, and rekindle the female friendships she left behind.”

Lex Scott Davis and Brenda Song have already been cast in Dollface as well. It is currently scheduled to go into production later this year. Are you excited for this comedy?
