Dwayne Johnson's BLACK ADAM Film Will Be Written By The Writer of ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS: THE ROAD CHIP

Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam film is taking a big step forward with the hiring of a screenwriter to write the script. According to The Tracking Board, Warner Bros. is going to hire Undatable creator Adam Sztykiel to write the script.

This is an interesting choice as he's also the same guy who wrote the films Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Raod Chip, Due Date, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul. These aren't really the greatest movies, but he must've had a solid story pitch that sold Johnson and the studio executives on hiring him.

There's still no director attached to the film project yet, but that will come in time. First things first... they want to get a script in place to help lure a director onto the project.

It's already been confirmed that Black Adam will not appear in Shazam! The first time we see Black Adam will most likely be in this solo film. I'm sure we'll eventually see Black Adam and Shazam! come face to face, though. I imagine that's what these DC films are leading up to!

It's going to be quite the spectacle to see Dwayne Johnson and Zachary Levi fight as these characters!
