Eli Roth’s ICE CREAM MAN Teaser Unleashes a Twisted Summer Nightmare

Horror fans, get ready for something ridiculously unhinged. A teaser trailer has been released for Ice Cream Man, the latest feature from Eli Roth, and it looks like he’s taking one of his wild grindhouse-style concepts and turning it into a full-on nightmare.

The film centers on a picture-perfect suburban town that spirals into chaos when a mysterious ice cream vendor starts serving treats with some horrifying side effects.

Kids aren’t just getting sugar highs, they’re turning into homicidal maniacs. That sets the tone for the kind of madness Roth is cooking up here, and yeah, it looks like it could get pretty insane.

Ari Millen takes on the role of the creepy titular character, and from the brief footage we’ve seen, he gives off some seriously unsettling vibes.

Think less friendly neighborhood ice cream guy and more nightmare fuel rolling down your street. There’s a strange, chaotic energy here that feels like it’s playing in the same sandbox as Weapons.

The cast backing Millen includes Eli Roth, Benjamin Byron Davis, Karen Cliche, Dylan Hawco, Sarah Abbott, Kiori Mirza Waldman, Charlie Zeltzer, Charlie Storey, and Shiloh O’Reilly, making for an ensemble that’s about to get thrown into total bloody mayhem.

Roth, who’s built a reputation with films like Cabin Fever, Hostel, The Green Inferno, Knock Knock, Death Wish, The House with a Clock in Its Walls, and Thanksgiving, directs from a script he co-wrote with Noah Belson, based on his own story.

The film features original tracks from legendary Grammy-nominated rapper and actor Snoop Dogg, alongside a score by Emmy-winning composer Brandon Roberts.

The official synopsis sums it up like this: “An idyllic summer town descends into madness when an ice cream man serves kids sweet delights with horrifying results.”

Ice Cream Man hits theaters nationwide on August 7th, 2026, courtesy of The Horror Section.
