Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch May Return for Marvel's VISION Series

Last week it was reported that James Spader will be reprising his role of Ultron in Marvel’s upcoming WandaVision spinoff series that will focus on Vision.

That was pretty surprising and cool news to hear. It has since been reported by Deadline that Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch, will also possibly appear in the series.

This wouldn’t really come as a surprise as a lot of fans have expected to see Scarlet Witch show up in this show given the strong relationship that she has with Vision.

It makes sense that the two would reconnect at some point in the story and that she would have a strong key role in the series when she does show up.

It’s been explained that the core of the series would center on Paul Bettany’s Vision as he is trying to regain his memory and humanity. It seems like something Wanda would have to be a part of for this story to be truly complete.

Terry Matalas (Star Trek: Picard) is developing the series and serves as showrunner on the untitled series which is looking to start production in 2025.
