Enigmatic New Trailer For Tom Hiddleston's HIGH-RISE

Tom Hiddleston seems to be struggling a little when it comes to movies that aren't in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His Hank Williams biopic I Saw The Light hasn't received very good reviews, and while his other new movie, High-Rise, has fared better so far on the festival circuit, it's been very divisive from the reactions I've seen among critics online. Following the first viral video for High-Rise a few weeks ago, which doubled as a sort of teaser trailer of its own, StudioCanal has released the official teaser trailer for the movie, and I'm very intrigued.

This is the newest film from director Ben Wheatley, a visionary filmmaker whose movie Kill List rocked my world when I saw it a few years ago. High-Rise hits U.K. theaters on March 18th, and Magnolia will release it in the U.S. sometime in 2016. Side note: I love the score in this trailer — I hope it makes it into the movie.

The new film from acclaimed director Ben Wheatley in UK cinemas March 18th. Adapted from J.G. Ballard's visionary novel by screenwriter Amy Jump, HIGH - RISE stars Tom Hiddleston, Jeremy Irons, Sienna Miller, Luke Evans, Elisabeth Moss. 1975.
