ENOLA HOLMES 3 Trailer Reveals Romance, Danger, and a High-Stakes Adventure
Netflix has released the full trailer for Enola Holmes 3, giving fans their first real look at the next chapter in the hit mystery adventure franchise led by Millie Bobby Brown.
After two successful films turned Enola into a fan-favorite detective in her own right, the latest sequel takes her far beyond the streets of London and drops her into a mystery that looks bigger, riskier, and more personal than anything she's tackled before.
The trailer teases a globe-spanning adventure set on the Mediterranean island of Malta, where Enola finds herself caught between her personal ambitions and professional responsibilities while investigating a case that quickly spirals into dangerous territory.
The new location also gives the franchise a fresh backdrop, trading Victorian London’s familiar foggy streets for sun-soaked coastal landscapes and international intrigue.
Netflix's official synopsis reads: "Tis I do?! The critically-acclaimed ‘Enola Holmes’ franchise has returned, taking Enola far from London, where personal and professional dreams collide on a case more tangled and treacherous than any she has faced before.
“Adventure chases detective Enola Holmes to the Mediterranean island of Malta, where she ends up working on her most precarious unsolvable mystery yet."
Alongside the mystery, the trailer also hints at major developments in Enola's relationship with Tewkesbury, played once again by Louis Partridge.
Fans of the previous films will notice that marriage appears to be part of the story this time around, adding another layer of complexity as Enola tries to balance her future with the demands of her latest investigation.
Brown returns as Enola, joined by a familiar cast that includes Partridge, Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria Holmes, Himesh Patel, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, and Susan Wokoma.
This installment also introduces a new creative voice to the franchise. Enola Holmes 3 is directed by Philip Barantini, whose previous work includes Villain, Boiling Point, Accused, and the acclaimed series Adolescence. The screenplay comes from Jack Thorne, who also penned the previous entries in the series.
The film is based on Nancy Springer’s Enola Holmes Mysteries novels, which are inspired by the world and characters created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
Enola Holmes 3 premieres exclusively on Netflix on July 1, 2026. Based on what we've seen so far, this one looks like another fun adventure for the young detective, with higher stakes, a larger scope, and a mystery that may finally push Enola to her limits.
