Final Trailer for STRANGER THINGS Season 5 Volume 1 Promises an Epic Endgame Showdown
Netflix just dropped the final trailer for Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 1, and it teases everything fans have been waiting for with high-stakes action, terrifying tension, and the reunion of Hawkins' finest.
Season 5 picks up in the aftermath of Hawkins being ripped apart by the Rifts. Here's what Netflix had to say in the official synopsis:
“The fall of 1987. Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown.
“Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding.
“As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before. To end this nightmare, they’ll need everyone — the full party — standing together, one last time.”
The trailer gives fans a look at the dangerous mission Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and Will are gearing up for as they try to take down Vecna once and for all. It teases familiar bonds and new alliances, with Dustin teaming up with Steve once again and Robin sharing some screen time with Murray, a pairing we haven't seen before.
The cast includes Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery, Charlie Heaton, Sadie Sink, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Cara Buono, and Brett Gelman.
Also returning from Season 4 are Jamie Campbell Bower as Vecna/Henry Creel/One and Amybeth McNulty as Vickie. New faces joining the chaos include Terminator legend Linda Hamilton as Dr. Kay, Nell Fisher as Holly Wheeler, Jake Connelly as Derek Turnbow, and Alex Breaux as Lt. Akers.
Stranger Things is gearing up for an exciting sendoff. With the stakes higher than ever and the gang reunited for one final fight, the trailer makes one thing clear, Hawkins is going out with a bang.
So, Get ready. The battle for everything begins on November 26 with four episodes, Volume 2 follows on Christmas Day with three more, and it all wraps up on New Year’s Eve with the grand finale.
