Fire and Ice Collide in The First Teaser Trailer For GAME OF THRONES Season 8!
HBO has released the first teaser trailer for the final season of Game of Thrones! It symbolically teases the epic war that will take place with the cool visuals of fire and ice colliding with each other and engulfing all of Westeros.
The trailer premiered at the São Paulo Expo in Brazil and was presented by showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss who appeared alongside Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) and John Bradley (Samwell Tarly) to get the audience pumped up for what is to come.
We really have no idea how Season 8 is going to play out, but producer Bryan Cogman has previously teased that it’s going to be a emotional and haunting finale:
“It’s about all of these disparate characters coming together to face a common enemy, dealing with their own past, and defining the person they want to be in the face of certain death. It’s an incredibly emotional haunting bittersweet final season and I think it honors very much what [author George R.R. Martin] set out to do — which is flipping this kind of story on its head.”
It has also been teased that the final season will feature one of the biggest and most epic battles ever created for TV or film, which I can’t wait to see!
There’s no doubt that the ending of this series is going to leave us with a bitter sweet feeling. We’ll find out how it all comes to and end next year when it premieres in April.
