First Look at The Punisher’s Van in SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY Set Photos
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is currently filming, and some cool new set photos just dropped that give us our first glimpse at The Punisher’s armored van.
In the new photos, fans can check out the vehicle, which looks like it's been through hell and back, complete with the iconic skull logo boldly displayed on the hood. There’s even a shot of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man chilling on the front of the van, teasing a potential team-up or showdown.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is shaping up to be a major turning point for the web-slinger following the reality-altering finale of Spider-Man: No Way Home. With the world having forgotten Peter Parker's identity thanks to Doctor Strange’s spell, this movie kicks off a whole new chapter for Holland’s version of the character.
Familiar faces are returning, including Zendaya as MJ and Jacob Batalon as Ned. While Peter had a chance to reconnect and come clean with his friends, he chose to protect them by keeping his identity a secret.
The cast for this new entry include Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, Mark Ruffalo is back as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, and Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan/Scorpion. Joining the MCU for the first time are Sadie Sink in a mysterious role (with rumors flying that she could be Gwen Stacy) and Liza Colón-Zayas from The Bear, also in a role that’s under wraps.
The film is being directed by Shang-Chi filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton, with Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers penning the script. Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal are back producing what’s expected to be the next big MCU cinematic event.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings into theaters on July 31, 2026.
