First Movie Poster Released For VENOM The Trailer is Coming Tomorrow!
The first teaser poster has been released for Tom Hardy's Venom and it has been confirmed on Twitter that the first trailer for the film will be released tomorrow! We've seen some behind the scenes photos and videos from the set of the film, but we're about to get our first real look at what this film is going to be like, and I'm pretty stoked! I really hope that it ends up impressing the fans! Let's see if Sony Pictures actually learned a thing or two from working with Marvel.
Hardy previously talked about the film confirming that the movie would be inspired by the Venom: Lethal Protector comic book miniseries. Venom: Lethal Protector was a 1993 six-issue miniseries written by David Michelinie. The story followed Venom moving to San Francisco after he and Spider-Man made a truce.
Once in San Francisco, Venom is hunted down by the Life Foundation, who wants to study the Venom symbiote so they can use it for their own evil purposes. From it, they will create five new symbiote spawn including Scream, Phage, Riot, Lasher, and Agony.
Hardy also stars alongside Michelle Williams in the film, who will be playing an attorney and possible love interest of Eddie Brock. The cast also includes Woody Harrelson, Riz Ahmed, Michelle Williams, and Jenny Slate.
Venom will hit theaters on October 5th.
