First Official Behind-The-Scenes Photo From VENOM Released
We now officially have our first photo from the highly-anticipated Venom movie from the brand new Venom movie Twitter account. It came with the caption, “Day 1.”
Tom Hardy, who stars as the monstrous-looking supervillain, can be seen relaxing in the picture. Because this is more of a behind-the-scenes type photo, not much can be learned besides the fact that we can see Hardy working on the film, and it seems to be enough to get fans excited.
The character of Venom, who is also known as Eddie Brock, was last seen on the big screen in Sam Raimi's 2007 Spider-Man 3. This new film is not a part of the MCU and it's rumored that the story will be based on the comic story arc "Lethal Protector", which you can read about here.
Riz Ahmed, Michelle Williams, and Reid Scott are also a part of the cast in the comic book spin-off. Ruben Fleischer is directing from a script written by Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner.
The film is set to open October 5th, 2018.
