First Trailer for Netflix's TOMB RAIDER: THE LEGEND OF LARA CROFT Anime Series Starring Hayley Atwell

Legendary Television has been developing a Tomb Raider anime series for Netflix with Crystal Dynamics titled Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, and the first trailer has been released, showing off what’s in store for this series! It looks good! Hayley Atwell (Captain America: The First Avenger, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One) is providing the voice of Lara Croft.

The series will follow the adventures of Lara Croft, and it’s set after the events of the video game reboot trilogy. This is the description that was shared for the project:

Lara Croft, one of the video game world’s most iconic adventurers, makes her anime debut in an all-new series. Picking up after the events of the highly successful Tomb Raider video-game reboot trilogy, the animated series will chart the globetrotting heroine’s latest, greatest adventure. Twenty-five years after her first game appeared, Lara continues to explore new territory.

The anime is being written and executive produced by Tasha Huo. Dmitri M. Johnson, Stephan Bugaj, Howard Bliss, and Jacob Robinson will also oversee the series as producers.
