Full Trailer for Robert Rodriguez's SPY KIDS: ARMAGEDDON Teases Family Adventure Fun
A full trailer has been released for director Robert Rodriguez’s Spy Kids: Armageddon. Yep, Spy Kids is back in the reboot of the sci-fi kids franchise, and it looks like it’s going to deliver silly family adventure fun. I was never into these films, but the kids love them and that’s the important thing! When if comes to movies like this, it’s all about the kids! The film definitely looks like it’s packed with kid energy.
The story centers on a pair of siblings, played by Everly Carganilla and Connor Esterson, who learn their parents, played by Gina Rodriguez and Zachary Levi, are secretly undercover spies who find themselves in trouble and in need of being rescued.
In the film, “When the children of the world’s greatest secret agents unwittingly help a powerful Game Developer unleash a computer virus that gives him control of all technology, they must become spies themselves to save their parents and the world.”
Rodriguez previously talked about the film saying: “We have a really fun new cast, Gina Rodriguez and Zachary Levi are so wonderful together, and our new Spy Kids Connor and Everly are simply magical. They are super talented, and very fun to watch.”
He added, “I’ve just heard from so many families how much they’ve enjoyed these films over the course of their lives. And now a lot of kids who enjoyed the first films as children are parents themselves and enjoy sharing them with their kids.”
Spy Kids: Armageddon will be released on Netflix on September 22, 2023.
