Fun Video Points Out Everything You Didn't Know About HONEY, I SHRUNK THE KIDS
This year marks the 30th anniversary of Disney’s classic 1989 film Honey, I Shrunk The Kids. I loved that movie when I was a kid and Disney is currently developing a remake of it for Disney+. The new film will be set in the same universe as the original films and Josh Gad will take on the role of Adam Szalinski, the son of Rick Moranis’ character Wayne Szalinski in the original films.
While we wait to see how that turns out, SyFy Wire has released a fun video that points out several aspects of the original film that you may not have known before. One of the first things it mentions is how the film was made on a budget of $18 million and ended up grossing $130 million. It made more money than The Little Mermaid, Back to the Future Part II, and Ghostbusters II that year!
