George Miller Is Open to Directing FURIOSA Star Chris Hemsworth in THOR 5
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga director George Miller would love to work with star Chris Hemsworth again on another film project, and it even open to directing him in Thor 5 for Marvel Studios.
While talking to ComicBook., Miller was asked if he would be open to directing Hemsworth in Thor 5 and he said of the actor: "I would work with Chris on anything. I really would. He's a wonderful actor. He's got the full range of all the skills.”
He added: "I mean, you've got to be athletic, physically. But, you also gotta be athletic emotionally and intellectually to take on these very, ultimately fairly complex, any role really.” So, I was very lucky with all my cast and particularly in the way that Anya [Taylor-Joy] and Chris matched each other. Particularly towards the end of the month."
George Miller directing a Thor movie!? That could be freakin’ amazing! A fifth Thor film was teased at the end of Thor: Love and Thunder, but other than that, Marvel hasn’t said anything about it.
Regardless, Miller could breathe some exciting life back into the Thor franchise, I imagine he would tell one hell of a badass and epic Thor story!
I have no idea of this will ever happen but Marvel would be stupid not to at least consider it and see what kind of story Miller would pitch. But, I’d be happy with Miller making More Mad Max films and any other kind of original movie ideas that he’s racing around in that crazy imagination of his!
