Sony Pictures has pushed the release date of the highly-anticipated film Ghostbusters: Afterlife back again. Luckily, it’s only a week! The movie was supposed to be released on November 11th, but it will now be released on November 19th. It’s taking the previous release date spot of Top Gun: Maverick, which was pushed back yesterday to May 2022.

At least they aren’t pushing this release of Ghostbusters: Afterlife to 2022! I actually had the opportunity to watch the entire film already at CinemaCon, and damn… I loved every minute of it! You can watch our spoiler-free reaction video here. I think Ghostbusters fans are going to love it!

This next chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe centers on “a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.” Their grandfather happens to be Egon Spengler.

The film was directed by Jason Reitman from a script he wrote with Gil Kenan. The movie stars Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, and Paul Rudd. Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, and Sigourney Weaver are also coming back for the film.

This is a movie that you’re not going to want to miss!
