GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE Title Confirmed, and First Trailer Is Said to Hit This Week
A few weeks ago, we reported that the upcoming Ghostbusters sequel had its title released by Italian movie site BadTaste.It. While it was not confirmed by the studio at the time, it is now official, and the film is titled Ghostbusters: Afterlife. And not only do we have the title, but it’s been reported by joblo that we will see the film’s first trailer this week!
I feel like this is a long time coming because the movie has been talked about for so long, but has been kept so under wraps. The film stars Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, and Mckenna Grace, as well as Paul Rudd, Celeste O’Connor, and Logan Kim. It’s also said that Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, and Ernie Hudson are returning to reprise their roles.
Director Jason Reitman wrote the film with Monster House director Gil Kenan, and it will “focus on a family who moves back home to a small town. While there, they begin to ‘learn more about who they are and the secrets of the town itself.’”
I can’t wait for the trailer! Ghostbusters: Afterlife hits theaters on July 10, 2020. Are you excited?!
