Godzilla Wreaks Havoc in Full Trailer for GODZILLA MINUE ONE
Toho has released a full trailer for Godzilla Minus One, and it features a ton of new footage of the legendary monstrous Kaiju on a terrifying and destructive warpath as he lays waste to Tokyo. The King of the Monsters shows no mercy as he wreaks havoc! This trailer offers us our best look yet at the film, and damn… it looks awesome!
The movie is set in Japan 1945-1947. “After the war, Japan has been reduced to zero. Godzilla appears and plunges the country into a negative state. Against the most desperate situation in the history of Japan, how — and with whom — will Japan stand up to it?”
Toho President Koji Ueda previously shared the following info: “Set in a post-war Japan, Godzilla Minus One will once again show us a Godzilla that is a terrifying and overwhelming force.” In the film, "After the war, Japan's economic state has been reduced to zero. Godzilla appears and plunges the country into a negative state."
The release of the trailer coincides with the film’s theatrical release in Japan. Godzilla Minus One also celebrates the 69th anniversary of Toho’s original Godzilla movie (aka Gojira), which was released on this day in 1954.
The movie was written and directed by Takashi Yamazaki, and it will be released in the United States for early access fan event screenings starting Wednesday, November 29th. Tickets for those screenings go on sale today, November 3.
