GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Director James Gunn Will Introduce More Of The Old School Lineup

Ever since Sylvester Stallone appeared as Starhawk in Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2, fans have been wondering if we will get more of him in future movies or was it just a one-time cameo appearance.

During a Q&A session on Facebook with the writer/director, James Gunn revealed that the team is here to stay and the original Guardians will continue to play a role in the MCU. He hosted the Q&A session to celebrate the first appearance of the Guardians 48 years ago when he hinted at his future plans for the team.

When asked if we going to see more of the old school line up, Gunn replied:

We do know that Gunn is currently writing the script for the third installment of Guardians of the Galaxy, which is rumored to release in theaters sometime in 2020. James Gunn recently said that it will be the starting point for the next big overreaching story arc of the MCU after Avengers 4. We may see more characters like Adam Warlock, Nova, and the Ravagers (AKA the team name for the original Guardians characters).
