HAPPY GILMORE 2 Behind the Scenes Video Features Pro Golfers Visiting the Set
Netflix has released a behind the scenes video for Happy Gilmore 2, and it features the professional golfers who are set to appear in the highly-anticipated sequel.
Golfer cameos include Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, Justin Thomas, and Will Zalatoris. The video also includes shots of Adam Sandler as Happy and Christopher McDonald as Shooter McGavin.
The video ends with Ben Stiller, who played the mustachioed, ornery orderly Hal in the original.
Kyle Newacheck (Murder Mystery) is directing the sequel from a script by Sandler and Tim Herlihy. There are no details about the plot of the movie yet. Julie Bowen reprising her role as Virgina Venit, and an appearance by NFL superstar Travis Kelce.
When previously talking about the film, Sandler said: “It’s good. We worked hard on the script. We didn’t want to let anybody down. People have been asking me for a long time. We’re really excited about it. We wrote our asses off. So many of the golfers are being nice and will be a part of it.”
This sequel comes nearly three decades after the original was released, but it’s going to be awesome to see what these characters are up to all these years later.
