Harrison Ford Hopes Red Hulk Will Return After CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD

For me, one of the things I’m most excited about in Captain America: Brave New World is Harrison Ford taking on the role of President Ross and the fact that he’ll be hulking out as the Red Hulk.

We don’t know how exactly his story arc will play out in the series or how it will come to an end, but Ford hopes that he will get to return as Red Hulk again at some point in the MCU.

During a recent interview with GamesRadar+, he said: "I hope he can come back. I hope [there's] a story in which he can develop into something other than the Red Hulk.

“I think we have the capacity to shift shape between Hulkness and humanity, but that's really not my department. I was very happy with the opportunity to play in this playground.

“What an amazing group of people to work with, and what an imaginative reality. So I was looking forward to having a piece of the action."

I love that Ford had a great time making this film and that he enjoyed the experience so much that he’s ready to come back for more!

Ford also paid tribute to the late William Hurt, who played General Ross in the MCU until his death in 2022. Be said:

"I'd like to think the character was a great fit for me. I was honored to be able to do my work on top of a foundation that a wonderful actor, Bill Hurt, provided for the character.

“And the story is a wonderful extension of the stories that Thunderbolt Ross has been part of. I've watched Marvel movies and seen actors I really liked, really admired, have a great time. And I thought, 'Hey, I want me some of that.'"

Ford also revealed his approach for transforming into the red raging monster, saying: "I just went for it, and nobody stopped me."

I hope Marvel has set up a story arc for Red Hulk that could span over the course of multiple films. It would be awesome to see this character get to appear in more than just one movie.

Captain America: Brave New World releases on February 14th.
