Harrison Ford Says That INDIANA JONES 5 Will Resolve Part of The Character's History

I’m excited about Lucasfilm’s Indiana Jones 5! I’m happy that Steven Spielberg is coming back to direct and that Harrison Ford is returning to reprise his iconic role one more time! I know some fans are a little wary of the new film because of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I understand that, but at the same time, I’m pretty sure they’ve learned from their mistakes and I’m confident that they will deliver another great Indiana Jones movie.

We don’t know anything about what this story will tell. We don’t know what new archaeological adventures await Indy or what parts of the world they will take him to. But, Ford did recently tease that we’ll see part of his character’s history resolved. While talking to IGN, he said:

“Well, I’m not going to share the story with you because that doesn’t seem like a good idea. But we’ll see new developments in his life, his relationship. We’ll see part of his history resolved.”

I’m curious to know what new developments there are in Indy’s life and relationship! Who is this relationship with? Marion!? Also, what part of his history will be resolved!? Will it be from one of the past movies we’ve seen or will it introduce a whole new element from his past? I guess we’ll find out!

Ford went on to say the script is “very good” and that he’s “looking forward to it.” The movie is going to start shooting in only a couple of months, so I imagine we should be getting some solid information on it soon.
