Hasbro and Paramount Extend Their Movie Deal For Five More Years; What Are They Planning!?

It looks like the romance between Hasbro and Paramount is still strong. After 5 Transformers movies and 2 G.I. Joe movies, they just locked into at least another five years together. This makes sense with the upcoming Transformers spin-off Bumblebee being slated for December of 2018 and their desire to build up a cinematic universe (which will include properties such as G.I. Joe, Micronauts, Visionaries, M.A.S.K., and ROM). Are these their only plans though, or does this 5-year agreement mean something more?

Will we finally see a Hungry Hungry Hippos movie!? Or maybe Yahtzee, the story of a man that just doesn’t know when to quit even when the odds are stacked against him.

Even if this deal is just meant to secure the future of the franchises and universes they are already working on, I hope it means they'll start turning things around and make better movies. These properties are cherished by many and deserve better than what we've been getting.

Do you like the news of this deal? What Hasbro game/toy do you think deserves its own movie?
