Here's Your First Look at The Children of Thanos in AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR!
During the D23 Expo at the Marvel booth, the studio unveiled a series of statues that offer us our first look at the children of Thanos! These four characters will be making their big screen debut in Avengers: Infinity War.
The statues were unveiled by Thanos himself, Josh Brolin. This obviously confirms rumors that the Black Order will play a big role in the story as they are enlisted by Thanos to help him battle the heroes of the MCU to gather the Infinity Stones for the gauntlet so that he can destroy the galaxy. We also have a photo of the gauntlet as well!
These Black Order characters consist of Ebony Maw, Cull Obsidian, Corvus Glave, and Proxima Midnight. There were no other details revealed on the characters. These characters were created by writer Jonathan Hickman and artists Jerome Opeña and Jim Cheung.
Looks like Gamora and Nebula are going to be involved with an all out family war! That's certainly going to make for an intriguing story element.
The first couple photos come from Marvel Studios Co-President Louis D'Esposito. These characters were not shown in the footage that was screened at the event earlier. You can read all about that here.
