Images From Marvel's Animated WHAT IF...? Series Show Zombie Captain America, T'Challa as Star-Lord and More
Some images have surfaced from Marvel Studios upcoming animated What If…? series. Having seen footage from this at D23, I’m super excited for what this show is going to deliver. I enjoyed the footage that was screened and these images features some of that footage.
The series will include most of the MCU cast reprising their roles in the series, which will examine the 23 past films in the MCU, but each of the stories will feature one key difference showing how the story would have played out differently. The Watcher is the narrator of the series, and he will be voiced by Jeffrey Wright.
The images you’ll see below feature T'Challa As Star-Lord; Zombie Captain America facing off with Bucky Barnes; Skinny Steve Rogers in a tank and watching as Peggy Carter is transformed into Captain Carter; and there’s a shot of Captain Carter riding on the back of Rogers’ WWII mech suit.
The voice cast includes Michael B. Jordan as Killmonger, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Josh Brolin as Thanos, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter, Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Neal McDonough as Dum Dum Dugan, Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Taika Waititi as Korg, Toby Jones as Arnim Zola, Djimon Hounsou as Korath, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, and Michael Rooker as Yondu.
The series is going to be available to watch on Disney+ in 2021.
