Interesting New Story and Villain Details Surface for Marvel's CAPTAIN AMERICA: NEW WORLD ORDER

Some new information has surfaced regarding Marvel’s Captain America: New World Order, and there’s no doubt it will pique the interest of fans. The following information was shared by entertainment scooper Jeff Sneider on The Hot Mic podcast.

These are potential spoilers, so if you don’t want to know anything, then I suggest you stop reading now.

It’s reported that the film will feature the villainous team known as the Serpent Society and that it will be led by Julia Louis-Dreyfus' Val. Apparently, she is the big mastermind behind this MCU Serpent Society.

Their mission will be to discover a metal alloy that's more powerful than Vibranium. What metal could that be, you ask!? How about Adamantium, which as you know, is connected to Wolverine and The X-Men.

Yeah, if this is true, things are definitely going to be getting very interesting. In the comics, The Serpent Society is an organization of criminal mercenaries who wear snake-themed costumes. The characters in the comics are King Cobra, Anaconda, Bushmaster, Death Adder, Rattler, Constrictor, and Viper. There’s no word on the characters that this team will consist of in the film.

I’m curious to see how this all shakes out, but the involvement of the Serpent Society is sure to make for an interesting dynamic in the story.

It was previously explained that the story will see Captain America (Anthony Mackie) face off with Thunderbolt Ross. Producer Nate Moore said: "Harrison Ford is taking on the role of General Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross, and to see Sam Wilson and Thunderbolt Ross, which if you remember actually threw him in prison at the end of Civil War because he violated the Sokovia Accords. There's going to be some natural sparks there, which I think are going to be really fun."

Captain America: New World Order is being directed by Julius Onah (The Cloverfield Paradox) from a script penned by Dalan Musson and Malcolm Spellman, both of whom wrote for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Spellman will produce with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.

New World Order hits theaters on May 3, 2024.
