Interesting Rumored Details Surface For AVENGERS: SECRET WARS And CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD
A couple of interesting Marvel movie rumors have surfaced over the holidays. The details offer some insight into two of the highly-anticipated upcoming films Captain America: Brave New World and Avengers: Secret Wars.
These are unconfirmed rumors, but they come from scooper, MTTSH, who has been hit or miss with the scoops they’ve shared. So, there is a chance these rumors could be legit. That being said, possible spoilers ahead.
The first rumor is for Captain America: Brave New World and it involves the big climactic battle between Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) and Red Hulk (Harrison Ford). The report claims:
“Captain America and Red Hulk’s final battle will be at the White House. Goodbye President Ross.”
That last part “Goodbye President Ross” hints that the character could either be killed or or Ross will find himself stuck in his Hulk form by the end of the film. Regardless, it’ll be an interesting battle to watch between these two characters because Red Hulk has crazy superpowers, and Sam Wilson has none.
As for Avengers: Secret Wars, the report mentions the villain who will be used as an excuse to replace Kang. The report said:
“Beyonder is still the main villain for Secret Wars that will be their excuse to recast Kang.”
The Beyonder was previously rumored to make his presence felt in Secret Wars, but it sounds like maybe it will be a lot more than just having his presence felt. The report also hints that maybe Marvel Studios will continue with the Kang storyline, despite actor Jonathan Majors being fired from the role after recently being found guilty of two misdemeanor assault charges. If that’s the case, it looks like we’ll see a new actor replace Majors in the role and I’m curious to know who that will be.
Avengers: Secret Wars is still in the development process where anything could change. The final two Avengers films don’t even have a director attached. But regardless of what happens, we know that they are going to be big event Marvel movies where lots of characters come together and big things happen.
